Canes are upright, spine-free and easy to manage. Fruit is well presented on strong laterals and plugs easily from the receptacle. Glen Ericht is ideal for harvesting by machine.

Glen Ericht has a vigorous root system and exhibits strong field tolerance to Phytophthora root rot (P. rubi) compared with current commercial cultivars.

Glen Ericht carries the A10 gene, conferring resistance to four biotypes of the large raspberry aphid (Amphorophora idaei).
