Screening for resistance to potato cyst nematodes Globodera rostochiensis and/or Globodera pallida

Additional information:

Test is carried out using 4 replicates.  Tubers will be warmed up/well chitted before screening commences.  All lines will be tested against appropriate resistant and susceptible control varieties.  Canisters are incubated for a minimum of 10 weeks and cyst numbers are manually counted at the end of the incubation period.  Report will be created indicating to the customer the cyst counts and whether the line is in expected to fall into the resistant, intermediate or susceptible category.
